All About Anita

She is an international fetish fashionista, art nude model and pin-up. She has graced films, books, magazines, stages and exhibitions around the globe. She is a fully formed, self-styled character, effortlessly blending cutting edge fashion with art, glamour and a timeless elegance. Diverse, dynamic, and always distinctive. She is Anita De Bauch.

Anita is the model of choice for some of the world’s biggest names in latex couture, artistic nude and fashion photography, and maintains a love of vintage glamour and sophistication that makes her a favourite among lovers of beautiful women in corsets, stockings, lace, silk and satin. One could say that “Pin-up has an image and it is Anita De Bauch.” (Pin-UpPixels.com.)

Since 2006, she has re-created herself in minute detail from a blonde science student into the flame-haired bombshell of her dreams and appeared on the runways of several high profile fashion events, from Fashion TV to Torture Garden, even being honoured in 2010 with opening the show at London Alternative Fashion Week. The fashion film Oyster, directed by Marie Schuller and starring Anita daringly riding the London Underground in nothing but Vivienne Westwood heels and an open Dans La Vie mack, was released in 2012 to much critical acclaim and is currently touring international film festivals.

No stranger to the stage, Anita made burlesque history during a special performance in 2009 by giving the first ever striptease at The Silverstone Grand Prix, dressed in a scintillating silver bullet bra, tight-laced couture corset and sparkling high heels, complete with vintage fully fashioned seamed stockings.

Anita’s client list includes names as diverse as Jane Doe Latex, Cradle of Filth and Corioliss and the coffee table book Anita De Bauch by Sean McCormack was published in 2011 (followed by a popular sequel, Anita De Bauch: Chameleon in 2012). The same year, “The Bible of fetish style”, Skin Two, reported Anita to be one of the world’s top fetish fashion models and Bizarre magazine has named this “sex bomb” as one of its most popular alternative models of all time.

Anita resides at her 1930s North London home with her two Sphynx cats, Lilith and Dexter, and writes about modelling for PinUpPixels.com. Her first book, The Ugly Girl’s Guide to Becoming a Model, will be released in 2012.
